Well, it appears to me that all the T-2 owners are very happy with the T-2's since I have only seen..............

I think no matter the brand, cost or locale, you'll always see "mint, barely used" detectors. Some like to try every new model, some hit a curve and bail, many are probably gifts that the owner just never pursues it past the curiousity level.
