Still at Steelcase but went from steel to wood furniture. It's quite a change going to wood furniture. I never knew there were so many kinds of wood! I can't believe the amount of labor that goes into our products. I sure have to get used to all the sawdust in the air. Even with millions invested in air makeup systems you still can't catch all the dust. I was surprised when I got there the average seniority is only 9yrs! I got almost 19yrs so I am the big man on the totem pole now  When it comes time to put in for vacation next year(they already did it before I came to wood) I'll have first pick at what time I want! WOOHOO! They knew I was coming so they put me on the "Eye Spy" final inspection job. Just stand there and inspect the wood while the others sand their butts off :clapping: So it's going alright for now. We'll see what lies ahead of me. Hey Charlie I put in for my vacation time next week so I should have an answer this week some time I hope. I'll let ya know if my supervisor approves it or not.

..... Yep, nothing like well designed hardwood pallet furniture, laminated with attractive water resistant corrugated cardboard for lasting beauty. Cooter can sell it for you on E-bay.

Was so thick that at 30 Yds you could not figure out who you were seeing---When it got that bad I called O.S.E..A. but no one ever knew that I did--Keep my mouth shut---They made the company open up the dampers so we could see SomeWhat Better-----After a while you will see it but you wont care about it--It did surprise me that where the general works it was like that because I thought the mill would be open and not walled in much because the weather is warmer down there most of the time ! The Coldest weather I ever worked in was Minus 6 Degrees and the mill was wide open because the roof fell in because we got 20 in. of snow then it rained and Added A Ton Of Wt.---For all that time I only Got $370 A Mo.--We were dumb and went for high pay and Not Great REtirement !
