Service Type: GROUND

Note: Your package is in the UPS system and is on time with a scheduled delivery date of Aug 26, 2005.

I haven't had much luck with them so figured I'd post it here to see if it shows on time... I need the part for the weekend fishing trip so I'm very pessimistic about delivery...

Just having fun here... Guvner..

I wish people like you would use other shipping companies. I am tired of hearing from uninformed people that can only complain. UPS has the fastest ground service in the business hands down. PLEASE use FedEx Ground.

In fact I got something real important out of Chicago in a day about a month ago too... Glad to see you're still around here making sure I don't misinform people...

Hope all is well... Guvner..

Ps. Seems that nothing has gone wrong of late with UPS at all even when I expect it to so maybe that place in Kansas burned down that always misdirected my packages... :) Lenora, Lenexa... something like that...

Guvner,

I don't think you've misinform people. You have documented your problems with UPS. I don't have a problem with that. For what ever reason some people do have 'bad luck'. I've seen people ship stuff thru our system that probably should have been broken because it was packed so poorly. Then there are broken packages I have seen that never should have got broken. It happens with all shipping companies. All of my customers that jumped shipped to go to FedEx Ground when they came into the area are back shipping with us. The nice thing is now they're alittle more easy going and have begun to realize damages and misdirected packages are a fact of shipping at some point.

I realize people have to vent when something gets broken. I have personally heard my share of stories when I am working. I don't blame people for being mad, I would be too. I always try to help my customers because service is the only thing we have to offer. The only time I get mad is when people start bashing UPS without a reason. Good to hear that everything has been better on your end... :)
