Well I'm going to go on my first group hunt this Saturday.

There is going to 5 or 6 people from around Chicago that I meet on another forum. It should be loads of fun. We are going to go to an old Boy Scouts camp site in a local forest preserve. It has been picked over the years, but you never know what you might find. Also it will be a learning experience for me, I get to see how other people pinpoint and dig plugs, ect. I will let you all know how things turnout.

I wish I knew some people up here who wanted to do stuff like that (I live in Maine). There are lots of great places to go around here, too. But being an attractive 30-something woman I don't dare to go by myself to most places.

Sounds great! How's your weather? Central Iowa got pounded yesterday with rain/sleet/snow mix. Low last nite in the 20's. Hope it doesn't come your way. Everything is sloppy. Can't wait for warmer weather!
