Well I woke up this morning

Well I woke up this morning hoping to get out & do a little MDing as I looked out the window I saw large heavy white wet snow flakes. I am so sick of this global warming I could cry, & no I do not live in Alaska. This year we are well above our average snow fall totals, at last glance I believe we were at 165% of normal. Back in the 60's I remember waking up on the 4th of July excited for all of the fun activities only to be disappointed to see 6" of snow on the ground.
How is it in your neck of the woods?

Wet, very wet, and suppose to remain very wet until Friday. Is the 12" coil working for you?

Hi, Dave the coil seems to be working fine, I have to get used to it because it is different than the dd coils that I have. The only problem might be the soil here I haven't been able to hit any targets below 6" but when I air test it it will do better than the 6x10. I might have to go with the 10" dd due to the soil.

Hey Bula. Let us know how the 10" DD works out for you if you go to that coil. Especially how it does for you compared to the 6x10 DD. If you can let us know what the mineralization level is where you hunt also that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
HH

:chase:Tulsa,OK. overcast drizzling off and on.
the ground is already to the point of falling apart when digging a plug,so the rain is going to be needed.
I'm wanting to find a connection with some of the demolition crews in the area, that way the dirt work is done by the loaders, sure have a lot of trash to deal with though.
hunted waterline repair jobs yesterday with bertman,he found 08 indianhead penny on the surface.like a rookie I was cherry picking and believe I missed some finds, but I'm on 2weeks vacation so I'm sure I'll be sore enough soon enough.

I know what you mean, I have been on both ends of that situation. Walk past a good find or follow someone that walked past it & I found it. It is a lot more fun being on the finding end.

I heard that there was snow out your way and wondered who was going to get it. Surprise, you win! Hopefully it won't last long and you'll be out there detecting soon. HH, Nancy

I always try to look on the bright side, & I'll take the snow over the the tornado's & hurricanes that other areas are getting. That stuff scares me.
