Well I Went With The MXT Pro And DX-1 Probe

Well the procrastinating is over, I went with the MXT Pro and DX-1 probe. I have done so much research on the DX-1 and thought it was the way to go instead of the Garret Pro. However, after doing more searching this morning I came across a quite a few posts about people having problems with them. I sure hope I didn't make make a mistake with that decision.

I paid $160. plus 6% tax but can probably sell it for $150. plus shipping if I don't use it. What do you think ?

I don't think you will be sorry there really good . I use the Garrett only cause I have several detectors and wanted a pointer that was a grab an go no matter what detector I am using . But you will love your DX-1 they are great . I have several friends that use them and they love theres.

BIG congrats to you. I don't think you'll be sorry one bit. Let us know when you get it. LHH, Nancy

You won't be disappointed. Its work great with the MXT Pro. Being able to see the VDI / readouts on the display screen when actually using the DX-1 is a real advantage that you're gonna enjoy. Its like having another 'minnie' coil. I've had absolutely no problems with it. CCH

I've got the MXT-300 with the DX-1 and Sunrays pro gold headphones and what a combo... I love them and would not want to part with them. HH Jack

That is my setup....works for me!

Living in the UK as I do I personally I couldn't see the point of the in-line probe (once I get a positive signal I dig anyway, and never bother what the screen tells me) So I went for the Garrett Pro Pointer which is tunable - only down side is forgetting it

Congrats on the MXT PRo and the DX-1....it's a killer combo and very easy to use....Just like having a 1" coil....I wish you well and happy hunting...

You will love the DX-1 same set up I have on mine. One thing about it you will never leave it on the ground and forget about it. Richard will fix you up with one nice fellow that Richard.
