Well, I went back 12 pages looking for the detailed chart on VID numbers for the digi meter...

All the stickys are right at the top of the thread listings. That's why they call them thread stickys because they always stay stuck to the top of the message thread listings. The one about the meters had VDI in the title. After reading that if you have any other questions please ask and I'm sure some people will do their best to answer things for you.

No you ain't Mark. Everybody has a first time learning what stickys are. I did myself a few years back. Never heard the term or knew what those threads did, staying stuck to the top of the page. Still can't figure out myself why when you post a video sometimes it will show the video in the message to click on and sometimes only a link. I'll grab the video URL by pressing the right button over the video and then picking the top "copy video URL" or whatever function. Then I go and paste it in a message on here and sometimes it posts the video right in the message and then other times it only posts a link you have to click on. Can't figure that one out? And also, conversly, if I do only want to post a link to a video and not the video to show in the message, I'll grab the address right at the top of the window and paste that. I would figure then it would only show that link to that webpage where that video is, but about half the time it still puts the actual video in the message and not the webpage link. If anybody can tell me what's going on with all that please do!

You know, years ago I was heavy into computers. Knew about 4 languages to program in. Knew every little nook and cranny of setting them up and so on. Then flash forward about a decade and a half where I didn't have any computers to toy with at home for all that time, and now I've got a lot of blind spots in my knowledge of things on them and the net. Still struggling here and there to re-learn a bunch of stuff on them. Some times I feel like an expert, and then some times I feel like a complete novice at what I'm doing on a computer. Especially gets me frustrated when I try to figure out for 10 minutes how to do something and then stumble upon a simple function that was right in front of my eyes all that time. That's when I take a break before I think about throwing it out the window.
