Well ...I Went and Done It!

:minelab: Hey There Fellow Seekers!

I went and did it! I traded my Garrett GTP1350 for a Minelab X-Terra70 Pro Package! The Garrett GTP1350 is a great detector but a bit heavy for this 'Ole Man'. I've noticed lately that my swinging arm was plum wore out after a couple hours but the rest of me wanted to keep going. I don't know about you fellas's but I can't swing with the other arm for beans, so I decided it was time to do my level best to rectify the problem. So down to my local dealer I went and I tried a bunch of 'um before settling on the X-Terra70 Pro Package. I love the extra coil that comes with the deal! Wow! It's
so kool that we can change frequency's simply by changing coils! Who else can do that? Neat huh? So if you fellas's have any advice (positive yah understand) just give me a jingle. K? Thanks! & God Bless Yah All...!

Take your favorite beverage and spend some time in the FAQ at the top of this page, jot down a few notes & questions. Then throw some coins on the ground to kinda ease into her slow like, and enjoy the light weight and BIG display.

As far as the three frequencies, the only similar thing on the market right now is the new White's flagship model in the $1500-$1600 price range. You don't have to change coils on it to change frequency but get to pay about 3 times the price for the convenience. But I don't think you should feel very under gunned.

Just do like I did with the Faq Faq. Go buy an extra black cartridge for your printer and go through and hit print on each link. Matter of fact you might need quite a few favorite beverages. I had to go and buy another cartridge to finish printing all the info out. A lot of the info for all the X machines no matter which one, is going to be relative to the one you have. It's kind of funny, I used to read all kinds of hunting and fishing magazines and books and now all I read is about a different kind of hunting.:clapping::minelab:

Well, who says us old timers can't make good decisions? I think you will be very happy with the X-70. Good Luck.

:minelab:Hello Fellow Seekers!

You know ... I think you're right! Once you understand what the X-Terra 70 will do, it would be difficult, at best, to not like this machine. My goodness! it so light and easy to handle! If I were to upgrade, it would have to be the 'New' X-Terra 705. What on earth, at the tender age of 65, would I need more metal detector than this for? It does it all already! Thanks guys for your encouragement and well wishes. Here's hoping we are all blessed with years of joyful metal detecting to come.
