Well I took the plunge and got a 5x8" coil!!

I have read and heard so much about these coils I had to get one! What is your guys thoughts on this little jewel attached to the AT Pro?

used just use the sniper coil until i got the 5x8 now the sniper is just collecting dust.the majority of my hunts are trashy areas and it is great all around coil think you will love it.

The 5x8 is a must have coil IMHO. Ive got the larger DD and the sniper too. They all get used but the 5x8 is on most of the time. Enjoy and HH. Matt

Its amazing how much lighter the AT is with this coil attached I done a air test and it suprised me it test almost as good as the stock coil! I am taking it to one of nail infested sites tomorrow and see if it pulls anymore goodies for me.

It's kind of like having a totally different detector when using the 5x8 coil with the AT Pro. Have some fun with it.

I have to say it is amazing.. I bought the sport pack last year with he 5x8 in the package..my buddy and I hit this park for the first time and I had the stick coil on it..we found some wheats and silvers that day. The next weekend we went back and I told him I wanted to put the 5x8 on and try it as this park was kind of trashy. The park neighbors also came over to chat with us and the old fellow proceeded to tell you we were the 1000 persons to metal detect here over the year. We told him we found some things last weekend..lots of clad though. but with this 5x8 on I found 5 silvers and 10 more wheats that first time I put it on...just amazing if you ask me...and yes it is lighter and more balanced...it also forces you to slow down a little bit more on your swing...it's a win win situation..

I am a happy man this coil is awesome!! I took it to my old nail infested home site that has stopped producing for me. And I immediately started finding wheat pennies with nails in the hole!! I found a old pocket knife with multiple nails in the hole and it was as deep as the length of my leshe digger. I also found a old button with a train on it. I am very happy with it so far it has excellent in ground depth and it id's targets dead on the nail!!
