WELL I TEST DROVE THE DEUS

I test drove her today with my program and two of the factory's.. Now since this was my first time out I wanted to go to a clean site that I have hunted hard.. I stayed for 2 hours and compared signals on every target with the ctx 6" coil installed and the ctx hit every target the deus hit. SO>>>>> I am still conclusionless... LONG story short this wasn't the right site, I purchased the deus to try to get into some iron and that's what I am going to do tomorrow.. I have the perfect site and I am hoping it does what everyone says in the iron.. I will say this at this point if the results were the same as today in the heavy iron I would not waste the money on a deus if you already own a ctx, Its a great machine but as I said the ctx hit everything the deus did today!!! Again the real test is tomorrow in the thick iron I will keep you guys posted!!!!! I have a video I will upload in the morning!

Move the DEUS to 18khz, reactivity setting to 4, leave on manual ground balance between 85 and 90 and you shoudl beging to see a difference in heavy iron infested ground.

Wow! Thank for the fast update! I know I really appreciate hearing your impressions. I'll be anxiously waiting to hear how the CTX and Deus compare to hitting the targets in heavy iron. Hunting my heavy iron sites is why I'd consider a Deus so this will be a important test result to hear.

Hi Bav,

If you hadn't already done so you might want to check out a few of Ged Dodd's (Peace Haven) 550+ videos on uTube. He's set up the Deus in a way that works really good for him and goes deeper than normal. The majority of his videos are real time clips showing him digging up amazing finds (along with lots of junk), which of course inspires others to do the same. There are also a few videos that are instructional in nature. His Number 89 video shows his Deus setup. He's also a happy, fun chap which adds to the charm of his videos. Of course England is different than the States are far as finds go but you might be able to pick up a few helpful tips anyway.
