The F75 SE is getting the up grade. I am hoping that will take the place of the Deus that I want. I was asking Fisher today when I called them if they fixed the bugs in the upgrade. They said everything been fixed from the early ones. I will have 7 years transferable warranty. That is great. I have a few places to go back over. GS

So which early ones is that, the early F75's without Boost Process, or early upgrades (11-14-14). If it's early upgrades does it mean all the early upgrades have bugs?, and how will i know, mine seems to work ok but then i don't use all metal mode and i really don't fancy sending it back to El Paso, what with the cost of postage/insurance (£100=$161) and the hassle of customs again. Anybody got any answers ?

I talked to Fisher about the early released ( Assuming the 1st ones released ) ones if they had any problems with them. The said back in Nov. some had problem and were fixed . They never told me the problems. I asked if it was safe to get the upgrade now because I didn't want to send it back to them for any reason. They said everything has been solved . So I can only say for me I will send mine in now for the upgrade. And wish for the best. GS

Im in uk as well m8 and thinking of sending mine off...you say customs hassle? did u go and get a reciept off em or did they hit you for tax again on the way back? How long did it take in total till u got it back?

Sorry , i should have said potential hassle, it was problem free, i asked Fisher to mark the box for return as a repair which they did. It took three days to get there and two days to get back, and about four days at the factory. Fisher updated their website regarding getting a customs pass after i had sent the detector off to them, but it all went smoothly. As the weather is now so crap for the past month, i have not been able to test the depth to any degree, so i don't know if it's a sub standard buggy model or not, but i will say it is 100% quieter than before upgrade.
