THANK YOU LORD, for givin me the strength along with good weather for a day in the dirt wit my bestest friend!!!!

off to the season ! I hate those erasers - always sound like a quarter at 2 inches. Glad you got out. I always leave my 2 gold rings at home when detecting. Not only do I not want it to beep like you said, but is certain areas I dont want to look like Joe Gold to others. Good luck on the next site, Steve in so az

That's one of the reasons I bought a pinpointer :) Yep, can't run your left hand over the coil...

I did kind of the same thing... I was at the beach a couple of weeks ago and my machine kept falsing on me every once in a while. Turned out there was a nickel in my wader boot  Duh.

My wife Vicky has came with me to hunt the beach a couple of times last summer. She belt mounts the old CZ20 and tries to find enough clad to buy a cup of coffee. That's her goal  You KNOW she's going to be the one to first find a umongo diamond ring...

my wife gives me a "you and your silly hobbies" look whenever I walk out with my detector!

done the same thing myself. Now I use it to check to see if the tector is workin!

:wiggle:I dont have that problem-you see,I lost my wedding Band-4 DAYS after my wedding!!!!!!!!!!.....my wife said-jokingly-"DID YOU LOSE IT ON PURPOSE?":blink:Well-not really......

Me too,Jim.
