Well I had the Vaquero for a week or so and

I took it down to a street that they have been tearing up. I have hunted it and found a Spanish dollar, a couple of bits and a lot of this and that.
The last time or so NO FINDS because LG and I had hunted it and I have seen 4 or 5 different "Tickers" go hard in that small block.
I have heard so much about the Tesoro and in my mind I thought bigger was better, well I found out you don't need a crane to carry your detector around.
I took my wee little vaquero down to THE block and here is the finds from yesterday afternoon.

A silver plated ring with "State of North Carolina" around the State Seal. Remember that the street and sidewalk was put in about 1920.

A sheaf of wheat, with a scythe and acorns at the bottom. I guess the acorns means that they had squirrels in those days also. That what LG feeds me.

All else, I guess the area is not hunted out you just need something to cut through the iron. Part to a gas light, a piece of a union shoulder scales.
