Well I did it,I just ordered a AT Pro.I got to try it,if I don't like it I'll just take my lose's.Damn life is good.

Use it only in the Pro mode, STD mode is like an Ace 350. It is great in finding coin, works excellent on the beach and if you want, go in the water with it. Just remember to ground balance it as you change conditions on the beach from dry to wet to water. To some people it is a noisy machine but once you learn the sounds and how it locks onto something good you will be amazed at it's finding capabilities. It is a terrific all around machine. I have one and considering buying a second one for hubby, although he is a real magnet with his Ace 350. For the price of the machine it is well worth it. One suggestion is to get the waterproof headphones if you are going in the water. I have an Excal which is strickly water, but the AT Pro is my back-up machine. I have had all kinds of machines, Sov GT which I found to be heavy and slow on the recovery when hunting, Minelab Quattro was even slower, Xterra 30, Whites Prism 3, and several other Whites machines. This is my first Garrett and I am in love with it.

It seems to get pretty good depth, pinpoint is good and the target Id seems to work well...Andy said a 2 year old could run the thing:shrug:
