Well, heres my new lineup, I went from the 3 Amigos to the Fantastic 4!

How do they stack up to each other. If you bury a dime at the edge of the coinstrikes depth(where you just get a faint signal).how do the other machines read the dime.Dave

CZ70 & C$ both will hit a dime at about 10-11" fresh buried. But thats here in central Florida, others may experience more or less depth depending on their soil conditions. The CZ70 & C$ are about equal in depth. I think they each have their benefits, the CZ5 is an all around coin machine and one of the best. The CZ3d however is a good coin machine for older sites, but newer trashy sites, I would opt for a CZ5 or the CZ70. Now, the CZ70 is a great all around machine and one of my all time favorites, great for relics, coins & beach hunting and I like the notching system of the 70 plus I just like digital. Now the C$, is one of the best relic machines going, what little have done with it has really impressed me. The C$ is one of those machine that you can use in places that you can't use a CZ.

As an example, I have tried hunting around railroad tracks with the CZ's and they go nuts anywhere near 10 feet of the tracks, but not the C$, it will hunt almost up to the tracks without much of a problem. But then electrical interference will cause problems with the C$, but not bother the CZ's so its really a catch 22 I guess.

I had the 6,6a,7 and 7apro.There were just tooo many places I couldn't hunt with them.Places that were infested with iron, like old cellar holes and old fairgrounds were near impossible to hunt. The falsing from the iron would drive me crazy. Also had a lot of problems with falsing over wet grass for some reason.I do like them for saltwater beach hunting however and will most likely pick up another 20.Dave
