Well, heres my new lineup, I call them the Fantastic 4...........

n/t

CZ3-D, CZ-70, C$, Excel, 1270. Wives might not understand, but I sure do! :D

It seems to me that the CZ-5 is not needed if you have the other three. Why not sell it and buy some coils and accessories?Does the CZ-5 offer any particular advantage?:?:

it is not like the 3d nor is the 3d the same as the CZ5. The 3d is great in older less trashy sites. But for modern post 1950 sites, you really should use salt mode. Plus and most important, the CZ5 is the machine my wife uses and she is deadly with it. I can use the 70, 3d or C$ and she will more then not smoke me in finds.

The 1270 IS their depth monster!!!! :) Lotsa flexibility with it's setup. If you have some sites that have produced great coins at the depth limits of your CZ's and C$, take a 1270 back through the area and see what happens, :D

Didn't like the Coinstrike got the XLT and the bigfoot coil cleans up very fast

when I first tried a C$ I hated it for the first 10-15 hours, then after about 25 hours, I started understanding it and then after about 40 hours I really started liking it a lot. Now its one of my favorite machines. I would have to say my two favorites would be the CZ70 & C$. My wife's favorite is the CZ5. The jury is still kind of out on the 3d yet, although I think its a great machine for what it was developed for, but I don't hun that many older sites.

Looks like you have it covered..I agree with Mike as the Coinstrike has a learning period but once learned is a competent unit..Everyone knows I am a CZ guy so a CZ70 and CZ5 would serve me well. CZ3D is another thing and does well in real old areas..Nice to be able to take your pick when you hit the turf....How in heavens name do you make your mind up?.....

it is a hard choice, but I mainly use the C$, the 3d I use for older sites, which isn't really often enough to warranty keeping it & the CZ70 I just love to use period, but I use it quite often at the beach. Or when I want a change from the C$.
