Out with my lowly Tracker when this guy just pops up beside me and when I see his machine I was impressed with all the features and said "wow". It was the Discovery 3300 and I tried to hide my Tracker so he wouldn't think I was a newbie.:clapping: He, however, was impressed that I had a thin bladed screwdriver and was "instantly" popping coins and he just held his hands out and said he'd been having to dig holes 4" wide with his digger-he couldn't pinpoint with the thing. He handed it to me and I threw a nickel on the ground-whereupon two kids passing by kept sayng "Hey mister, there's a coin right by your detector":ranting: Like we didn't know!:surrender: HOLDING the pinpoint button down, I swept and got nothing!:sadwalk: That's when the guy told me you pressed it and released it and THEN your were in pinpoint.:please: Immediately, a light went off in the old cobweb and I restarted the demo.:sleepy: I hit the pinpoint and when it gave it's signal, I rehit the pinpoint. Voila!:bouncy: Now the guy finally got to see how retuning worked. He grabbed it and like all youngsters ran to use it while I was repeating be sure to rehit it WHEN you start getting your noisy first signal. Everybody's in such a hurry today.:help:
