I am in less pain now, I am going to give it a little while before I try to detect or even drive to see how this stuff affects me. Actiq, its on a lollypop like stick and taste like raspberries. I just hope it helps my back. 1752.00 dollars for 90 doses. I could not belive it, Im glad the insurance company agreed to pick up the tab. This morning my lawyer called and said they were contesting it. then walgrees called and said they got it in, I figured what the heck either they will fill it or they wont. So, I made them aware of them not wanting to fill it and they filled it any way no money out of my pocket, my empty pocket I should say. This stuff is strong. Now, I feel normal, well almost. I just have feeling normal or close to it cost so much and have to use what is pretty much heroin. What ever works I guess. Thanks everyone who has been listening to me b*tch and cry. I think I will be okay for a few days. Gonna do some diggn. Thanks agian everyone you are a great bunch of people.

I'm really pleased for you I hope this new stuff does the trick, and allows you the freedom to lead a 'normal life' ... (whatever that is!). I hope this means you can get out 'hunting' soon, I'm waiting to see some pictures of your finds!

Thanks Charlie, when you coming over to this side of the pond?? I would like to meet you and lift a few pints with ya. What da ya say? I cant afford beer in England and the exchange rate is pretty bad. When I live in Liverpoole (Merseyside) a pint would cost about 4 quid. Thats about 7.25 american. OF course the beer there is a lot stonger and better. But, I hate dark beer. I always enjoyed Carlsburg beer, it was pretty good. how about you?

Good for you Ronnie! Im glad to hear that the stuff helps - sorry it costs so darn much! Guess youwont be selling your detector anytime soon then!
Good Hunting and Congrats!

Im not out of the woods yet. As of now I do not know how Medi care works, If I have to be on this stuff on a monthly basis how am I going to pay for it? Right now work comp is picking up the check. What about after everything is settled down. If I end up Disable living on disability how can I afford meds? The doc says I will be on some type of pain medication, and arthrits medication for the rest of my life. My Rx bills now are over 2600.00 dollars a month. That is two house payments. Two thousand six hundred dollars every 30 days for medication. Saying it just hurts. Dont give up just yet. I am going tomorrow and try it out and see how the old back reacts.
