Hey where'd he come from ?Didn't see "Beetle Bailey" as I was photographing this.

It was excruciatingly hot out there this morning...hunted only 2 hours. Good thing ( or is it "thang") I brought some iced tea with me

Staked out an area of the beach and within the first 3 minutes, I recovered the silver ring.

After that it was all "down hill" with just clads.

thanks for looking , friends

.900 silver/.100 copper.

I got this info from the UNITED STATES COINS OFFICIAL RED BOOK 59TH EDITION 2006

I know there are people on this forum who could explain in more depth about the term "clad"

I know that I can see "clad " immediately by checking the rim of the coin

Hope this helped you to understand the term "clad"
