Wish that I could say that I found this little beauty. I did find one thumbscraper and a couple of broken points.

Nope this lovely was found by Terryl. ... and when she found it [in the middle of the road, having been driven over by who knows how many people and only a couple of feet where I had made a pile of chips] she was doing the happy dance. And she deserved to. Not often anyone finds a quartz crystal point.... She has been looking for decades and this is her first!!!

Sure is a nice find.

Other than the other one you posted a year or so ago, I never saw a quartz crystal point....

In point of fact, the quartz point that Terryl found was her first...... and she has been at the hunting game for decades. The quartz thumbscraper I found earlier this tear.... no one up here has ever seen one like it.

When you do find a crystal point, it is an occasion to be remembered
