Weird ring i snagged in LI lake yesterday....

The lake only 10 min away from me on highway, so i snagged 2 rings
the first one is 14k and second is weird one, the top is 22k (i test it)
and bottom is silver 925. You can see mark on the ring...
never seen like that before.. any ideas??

Kewl Ring! Obviously a lapidary stone and not a cut stone. I would have guessed tourquoise except for the translucent qualities, possibly a lapi luza but usually they are darker. Very Nice Find.

Very cool old ring!!! A couple thoughts on the stone: My first guess is chrysoprase, a green form of agate, although the intensity of green also suggests a cabochon cut beryl. There are several other possibilities as well. I would take it to a local jeweler to have it tested. A simple refractive index test would probably identify it.
