Weird markings on gold ring

Hey everyone,
I found a gold ring. I think. It's a dull gold color but almost looks like it's tarnished which I saw once on a 10k ring I found on a saltwater beach.
The markings inside the gold ring in question are as follows:
-A stamped in little indian head.
-"1/100-10K R.G.B" (quotation marks mine and not on the ring).
So anyone have any ideas about these markings?
Thanks

just take it to any jewlery story and they will tell you. I have never had any charge me for this but ask first to be safe.
I have found a lot of those plated rings

your ring is 10K rolled gold plate. The amount of gold is 1/100 of the total weight of the ring which is not high, even in plating standards. The indian head is a trade mark I believe.

They infest the waters up here. <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> A lot of them read HGE which is heavy gold electroplate and are supposed to be plated to .018 thickness. I believe they others run around .010 thickness.

I bought a ring that is marked 14k TCP. What does the TCP mean?

The person I bought it from said it was the name of the company that made it, but I'd never heard that before. I'm sorry, the letters are TPC.

Most North American gold does have a makers mark. There are so many that it could be hard pinning down a maker though.
