Weekend with the new V3i

Southwind

Well-known member
Got out this weekend for some hunting with the new V3i. I wanted to get to the city park but our annual Dodge City Days celebration put a halt to that. Instead me and a buddy hit a smaller park instead. I really enjoyed using the V3i as it was stable and accurate. My buddy used his E-Trac and we crosschecked our signals to see what each thought. Both were equal in depth and accuracy. The V3i proved to be very accurate on nickles. When I got a VDI of 18 to 21, never higher or lower, and all 3 frequencies agreed/lined up it was a nickle 100% of the time. I pulled a 1920 wheat pretty deep,2 cheap rings and an earring, a toy car 5 tokens and clad.

Good report Southwind. I know you have owned both brands and can do a good comparison. ROB
