Weekend Treasures. TIRING!!

Hit 6 lakes this weekend. Two of my favorite, Vandercook and Cass. Pulled another class ring out of Vandercook. 1972 East Jackson High School.

Favorite find is the old brass lure also found in Vandercook around 25' deep. Boy is it COOOOOOOOOOOLD in the bottom of that lake!! Also found some other very interesting items not mentioning at this time!! I know there was a huge amusement park on the lake and lots of remanants of it can be found in it. Great place to play.

I did bring up a womans mountain bike that I came across. Jim C. if you read this it is by a trash can near the restrooms if you go there!! Met 3 other detectorists there also. 7 detectorists in one lake!! Nice happy group!!

Cass brought me half the locks and all the buckles. I found a new part with lots of possibilities. Both the religeous medals came from the same spot along with the horseshoe with the square nails. Only one merc dime though.

due to the amount of rings and cool stuff to look at. gatta ask. how deep was the bike? was it found IN the lake?

Dobbie, bike was about 30' right down a steep dropoff. It was a womans Huffy mountain bike.

I forgot a find that I put in my car for safekeeping. I didn't want it broken. Tootsitoy is on the inside.
