Weekend Road Trip Finds

Well-known member
Finds are from a 2 1/2 day Iowa, Minnesota road trip a detecting buddy and I took over the 4th of July weekend.
The small eagle pin is a WWII honorable discharge pin AKA "Ruptured Duck" pin.
I also managed to find a larger Korean War era National defense medal similar to the one I got a year or so ago.
Other finds were an in progress 1963 silver quarter coin ring. The other ring is gold plated.
Indians are 1880,1890,1894,1899,1906. I also found a few various tokens on this trip.
We detected various city parks and schools.

Great display! That represented a lot of 'work' there! :clapping: What a great adventure you had!

WOW, you got some pretty cool finds and a bunch of silver. That was a good holiday hunt.

I didn't do so good this weekend. I only found 2 IH's and some tokens.

Nothing wrong with Indian heads and tokens.
Was pretty hot out last weekend anyway and I was whipped pretty good
by the time we were done.

flood, you are on a definite silver roll! Nice weekend road trip!

My weekend and all last week(end) NOT SO GOOD, had to put in a basement sump pump system in a hurry. #$&^ storms!
A lot of the farm fields here are gigantic lakes now.

I am just stunned that there are city parks and schools (even in rural areas) that still contain that much silver.

Great job, your finds speak volumes about your skills!

What a haul - fantastic ! :clapping:
