Weekend Hunts, including a trip to Seated Park...

Can only mean one thing- MORE SEATEDS! Friday I took a trip to Newton to a park near my cousin's home- found the 1868 Seated dime (only 464,000 minted), 1895, 1899 & 1902 Indians and several early (none with mm) wheats. Sunday I went to my old hometown to my all-time favorite site, which I affectionately call Seated Park, as it has now yielded me 32 Seated coins through the years. The well-worn 1875 was only about 4 inches down, sitting straight up and down with a 2" nail about an inch or so away from it. Probably went over that one a half-dozen or more times through the years. Also found 3 Indians- a nice 1874, 1900 & 1909 (no S- what a shock!).

I can't match the 1000+ my friend Ed in Upstate NY has from his park, but I am now at a total of 775 keepers from this park- If only I could find another one like it!

As soon as I have an opportunity to get the Indians cleaned up, I'll post pics of them.

HH all!
