Weekend Hunt

Well-known member
Hi Guys and Gals,

Larry and I went camping and of course we had to do some detecting. I used my MXT PRO (thanks to OregonGregg) and I came home with a few keepers. The ground was great for digging and we didn't have to fight too many roots. Well, here are my finds from the weekend. I even beat Larry with finding the oldest coin which was a 1909 Wheat cent. Here are MY finds. Thanks for looking and HH, Nancy

I see you enjoyed that Pro .......... and "Beat" Larry too. Now that is a good camping trip. LOL

I used the 950 stock coil. HH, Nancy

Thanks Elton, I would rather have my old MXT but it needs to be in the shop. :sadwalk: I honestly don't see much difference in depth. I'm not one that looks at the VDI all the time but I've caught myself looking at the VDI a LOT with the MXT PRO.

Oh, It was a great long weekend of camping. I was really hoping to find an Indian cent.

Shhhh ;), I also found two silvers vs. Larry's one silver. Mums the word.

Congrats on that nice howl. ....and the silver!:clapping:
Great hunt. Sounds like a lot of fun to you both.

All My Best

Thanks Vito. Whenever we can get out and go detecting plus do some camping is always a win!

Here's a few pictures of our pack. The chair that Larry is sitting in is an early Father's Day gift from us all.

Great hunt Nancy !! A special congrats on that very nice Barber . I really enjoyed all your pictures , the one of the pooches " chilling out " gave me a good chuckle .

We will keep that between us ................

Thank you Dirt Doctor. There's not a day that goes by that we don't giggle or smile with these two fur kids. The bigger on is just a pup. :yikes: He's only a little over a year old.

Love them. Thanks for sharing. There's something about dog owners and the love of their pets (kids).

Bootythoundpa, Thank you. You've got a pair of "beauties" too! I love you Profile picture. It looks as though they are waiting for a special treat. :wiggle:

Nice finds Nancy and congrats on the Barber. So I keep waiting for you to send the original MXT into Whites and get her tuned up..........then you will be ready to sell that MXT pro back :detecting:

Gregg,

Thanks for the kudos. I know, I know, Larry has been so busy and believe me, I would love my MXT fixed.

Don't get me wrong, I do like that MXT Pro. Seems like it's a bit more chatty for some reason. If, and that's a big "IF". You have first dibs at it.

Thanks again,

Nancy

Very nice Nancy. That barber dime looks pristine and I love that little Army jeep.

Thank you EJ. That Barber won me another silver dime at our PATH meeting this week. Hope all is well and HH, Nancy

Wow Nancy, Sweet barber dime there.

Thank you Rich. It won for Most Valuable at the meeting. Guess there wasn't much competition.
