Weekend hunt

For those who are new and not familiar with the hunt site, it is a primitive camp site with nice restrooms and showers. The club has reserved a cabin that sleeps 8, I believe, if you want to spend a night or two, and we have another building that we can call hunt central. For comfort, you might want to bring your own chairs and I suspect bugs might be a problem so bring bug spray. Breakfast and lunch will be on you and the club and members are providing a fish fry Friday night and Chicken dinners Saturday night. We should have plenty of water, soft drinks and coffee.

This hunt is considered a fun hunt and all finds that have not been planted for special hunts, if we have any, will be eligible for the FOM at the next meeting. You will be free to hunt all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Tent camping is also allowed if you do not want to sleep in the cabin.

I am available if you have any questions and I hope to be there Friday afternoon. See you there........:clapping:

Hey everyone!, What time will you be arriving to the site? Just wondering because it's been almost 2 weeks sense I have been hunting and I'm really looking forward to getting started. Also I work about 5 minutes from the site. :bouncy:

We trickle in at all hours, I hope to be there in a couple of hours and then leave in the afternoon to pick up Nancy for the fish fry. You are free to go hunting anytime Jeff.

I will probably shoot that way around noon ish. It's just more fun for me to hunt with everyone. I really cant say enough about the quality of people in this club and I look forward to seeing everyone this weekend.

The unofficial silver count at around 2 PM was six.

Nancy, I told you to not make fun of our members that might be a little slow.

I just now figured it out. Had to reread a certain post though. :wiggle: How's things going over there?

There is a good crowd at the camp and the silver count was 14 when darkness came and that was just day one. I will be going back here shortly and I'm sure many are are already hunting as I type.

To answer your question about the Lesche, the standard unit is ideal for lefties IMHO and backwards for righties. You can order them either way though. This is a picture of the standard unit.

That's the one I have. I wished I would have got the left hand serration now that I look back on it. How's things going?
