I detected this spot a few times I found a Morgan dollar in this field this past April.
The first signal I got was a nickel 12 on the nox it turned out to be a 1950 Canadian nickel got a lot of clad and 24 wheats! I also got the 1950 Rosie it was in with some rusty nails kind of masked.
I only detected that one spot on Saturday. I also found the 1962 dog tag the Eagle button and a small round buttons and about $5.00 in clad
HH.

That’s a ton of wheats in one hunt! An excellent sign of more silver to come

Thanks guys Anyone know if those Canadian nickels are like our war nickels I believe 40% silver?

Hi Mark, no they are not silver like our 35% silver war nickels. Copper/Nickel or Chrome plated steel depending on the year.
Cool looking coins though. I get a few of them from time to time being closer to Canada.
