Weekend Finds

Not sure what some of these are. The big round thing reads "Phelps Dodge" on the top. I found that they were a Copper/Gold company that started in the 1830's. Not sure if it's old or not. Does the round knob thing go to an old lantern maybe? The other round bent up thing reads "Elmo Sisters Cleansing Cream Philadelphia", couldn't find much info on it. I also found a pin that reads "Member, Dallas Junior Safety Council", no info on it either. Last but not least is my favorite. It's a 10 cent Trade Token. It reads "Good For" on the top and "In merchandise" on the bottom. The backside reads, "Bridgeport Coal Company". It's from the old Bridgeport Coal Company in Bridgeport, TX. The company had a few coal Mines in the mid 1800's and they would pay the miners with these tokens. They would then be able to use the tokens to buy stuff at the local General Store. These mines ran from the 1860's and closed in 1929. The Bridgeport Historical Society website has a blury picture of a token like this and it said this one was a 10 cent token.

Neat finds! My first impression on the round thing was an outdoor water faucet handle but that's just a guess.
