Weekend finds...

Detected one of my usual spots this weekend that has produced a lot of Coppers and came up with two more Large Cents... 1850 + 1851.
I have yet to find Silver there, but I am hoping that persistance pays off at some point.

Thanks for looking everyone.

What a thrill to find one of them. Here in Az the territory was taken into the USA the year they were minted. Not much chance of finding one. Thx for the pics, Steve in so az

There doesn't appear to be as many people posting their finds here as other forums. Not as many people with Fishers as opposed to Whites?

I'm sure you have some great finds from Arizona. The soil here in New England can be harsh on old Coppers.

My oldest coin in so Ariz was a 1838 seated dime. I dug it at a Civil War fort area. Other than that the oldest ones are in the very late 1800's. On this forum it seems like most posts are about detectors and not many about finds. Maybe the hot/humid summer has put people off. Even here in so Az it's humid, steve
