Weekend Finds

A detecting buddy and I took Friday off and headed to Kansas to detect for the weekend. We detected some old city parks I had researched prior to the trip.
Temperature was great. Mid 50s approaching 60. Ground was stiff but very diggable. We had to work pretty hard for what we pulled at a lot of sites but ran into some old coins.
I ended the trip with 42 old coins. Indians are 1890,1900. Nickels are 1923,1930, 1941. Wheat pennies are back to 1913.
I dread winters and this trip with the great weather and a lot of exercise broke it up nicely.

I was wondering if you took a road trip this past weekend since it was a lil nicer out and I see you did. Congrat's on the nice finds.

Sat I went ice fishing up at Clear Lake and pounded the Crappies.

Way to go on the road trip silver! Thanks for the pictures.

Very good weekend! Congrats!

Surprised the 68 Kennedy Half looks so tarnished, weren't they 40% Silver from 65 - 69? Can't say I have ever seen a dug one though.

Looks like you had a great weekend - congrats !
