Weekend Finds

We went camping over the weekend and happen to come across a few good spots to hunt. Here's my finds: Standing Liberty no date, 1935 Merc, 1907 Indian cent, Shell token and a few wheats. I had put my clad and junk in a baggie but I think it must have been knocked out of the truck when "someone" took the jack out from underneath the seat. Thank goodness I didn't have much clad in there. Also found a 1959 Rosie (not pictured) in the same town also. Used my stock coil and in relic mode. Thanks for looking and HH, Nancy

NEED TO GO CAMPING MORE OFTEN! :detecting:

Recovering one good old coin on a trip is great these days, but scoring a few is even better, especially those difficult-to-find Standing Liberty Quarters. :clapping:

I hope your wintry weather is delayed so you can keep getting out hunting more.

Monte

Camping at its best.
Congrats on the oldies.

Thanks guys and Monte, I hope we can get out again. There's a few campgrounds close by that are open year round for those die hard camping people.

Hey Nancy, is THAT what is called a "Happy Camper"? lOl

Great hunt, congrats on the finds. :yo::super:

A "Happy Camper"? I was that indeed. Specially in the evening when sitting around the campfire.

We got us a camper ! :buds:

Congratulations EJ, they can be a very relaxing weekend retreat.

So cool! How exciting and what did you get? We sure love ours. Any pictures? :wiggle:

I just figured he meant you are the camper.

Possibly Aaron. Larry told me he got a camper before I read the post. But you may be right. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he actually did get a camper. :bouncy:

We got a Coachman Catalina travel trailer. You are right Nancy .... camping is fun and relaxing.

When the prevailing west winds get to be too much for you Nancy come on down to Charleston SC area. There is no frost line and some wonderful national forest, Santee Cooper lakes and state parks to camp in. Ocean beaches have been a real challenge this year being sanded in.

Thanks Matt, would love to come your way. Maybe one of these days. Heck of a lot better than the arctic winds we've been having.
