Finds are from 5 city parks on Friday And Sunday.
Indian head pennies are 1894,1895,1897,1901.
Nickels are 1919,1924 D ! ,1936,1943,1957.
Dimes are back to 1908.
Wheat pennies are back to 1913.
Kids ring is a 1959 Dixie Ring.
I am unsure what the CC pin is.

Quarter locked on 12-45. It wasn't a real loud signal as there was iron above it. It was 8 inches deep.
Padlock was about 3-4 inches deep. It read a little closer to a half dollar (about 08-45) and not a pop can which caused me to dig it.

I am always impressed with how much detail remains on most Barber Quarters that are found. I'm betting that coin was lost within a year or two of being minted to produce that detail. Great Find!

That lock is sweet!
Nice finds floodplain.
Even though I run a CTX I drop by the E-Trac forum regularly to check out your finds
As well as others here on this forum.
Doesn't seem like nearly as many finds get shown on the CTX Forum.
I feel like buying an E-Trac just so I can hang out with you guys.
Never owned one but kinda wish I would have..
Nice Barber quarter too.
Still looking for my first Barber and Standing Liberty quarters.
Keep it up.

That lock is in really good condition for as old as it is! How'd you know it wasn't a pop can?

It was a pretty shallow target but the ferrous number was dropping lower than a crushed pop can so I was hoping it wasn't.

Very nice, especially the Barber Quarter! A few weeks ago I found a Barber half that read 12-45 and it was under a thumb sized blob of rust.
The sound was just OK and the depth was about 5 inches. I believe there are many good finds left for us hiding in the iron. Happy Hunting:thumbup:

Those are some great finds Doug,

What really empresses me is the amount of old nickels you find week after week.

Thanks Mark, Who is Doug ?

Yes, that nickel sound is one you have to get used to a little. Etrac has so much audio info. That is why
I believe it excels over other detectors. I don't look at the screen too often anymore when I detect.
