Weekend finds....Park Pirate left one silver for me !

Tony (Park Pirate) has been nailing some deep silvers this weekend. I followed his lead today a dug a real deep signal that hit way down lower right on the smart screen. Sounded too good to be junk. After digging at least 8 inches down, I was rewarded with nice 1912 Barber dime. Also added a 1937 Buffalo nickel and a toasted indian head cent. The 1897 V nickel and nice 1901 indian head cent were found yesterday in the same area. Park Pirate found the older sister (1905) of my Barber dime today and an indian head cent. I'm closing in on 1000 old coins out of this park. I think I need 8 more. It has taken 22 years but hopefully I can get to 1000 this year before the ground freezes.

I dug the Barber dime in a spot we pounded to death. Up on the back side of the school, around the light pole where you dug bunch of indian head cents. Tony was hitting some coins where they pulled out the swings and monkey bars near the school. The same area Butch got a few seated from. Nice and warm up here today too. I'll have to get down there soon. The beaches giving up anything lately ?

No the beaches are horribly sanded in right now, plus they have replenished most of the beaches down here and buried the old stuff under 8 feet of sand. Very few spots left to dig the older stuff near me, I got one spot left where I used to have half a dozen. Probably going to have to start heading up to the beaches north of me at this rate or head inland for colonials.

You guys from Up State NY are KILLING ME!

I started detecting four years ago and have done O.K. but not AMAZING

I live in Western NY and hear the old stories of find spots that just poured out great coins
It is my wish to find such spots and I have hope that they still exist if you can find them

Well, I'll just look at your stories and finds as inspiration and keep the Faith
