Nice goin', EZ! I love the way you just ran out of room and stacked the rest of the clad in a pile!
(my first ever silver coin was a 1909 Barber, found in the ditch glimmering in the sunlight, just waiting for me to scoop it up)
Here are a couple of suggestions to make you feel better about the eyeball find on the necklace:
1) You got there too early, you should have waited 5-10 years for the thing to sink down so that you could dig it up, probably chop it in half with your Lesche, and then attempt to clean the dirt out of it. (I'm SOOOO leaning towards the eyeball find after writing that) Just make sure you mark it good.
2) Close your eyes next time when you pick it up, and if need be, cut it with your Lesche so that it APPEARS to have been dug up. Don't forget to mash it in the dirt good, otherwise you'll never sell the story this story.
3) Consider yourself the luckiest guy in the world, race to your nearest Kwik Trip, and buy the winning lotto ticket
4) Don't tell anyone, send it in for melt down, then take the money and spend it before any of us find out. (You KNOW this isn't happening!)
5) Suffer from guilt and mail it to Stilpony at 123 Keep Dreaming Blvd., Noobieville, Wisconsin - he promises not to tell anyone.
6) Read Muds comment above, because it is true!
Hope your back is feeling better!
