Weekend finds from Salisbury Beach..

Hunted many hours this weekend w/METALDIG+BOSTON BOB..M.D got some big silver me and bob got small gold.All got old coin,Barbers,Mercs,V nic's,Indian Heads, and plenty of newer silver coins!!tons of wheat's too!Seems the last storms goodies are still popping out!We all got about $20 in clad this weekend too.Not bad lots of new drop and still pulling oldies best of summer and winter hunting in one!!James where you been?Kinda hot and buggie to be in the woods?...I got my ring from the storm apraised today its worth 1,000++! first 20min with BEACH HUNTER ID it paid for its self!! Me,METALDIG and BOB will hopefully have some good photo's for you all soon!!!Sorry for the wait but its hard to find free time when the beaches are so hot!! HH ALL!

I hit Salisbury in November of "03" when I first recieved my Garrett GTAx550. I worked the beach right out in front of Beach road off of Ocean front. My brother got a silver toe ring and lots of clad, myself I hit a pocket of pennies, nothing old. I am from Greenfield MA, it takes about 2 hours to get out to Salisbury. I have wanted to get back out there this year. I now have a Detector Pro HH Diver and would really like to try it on the beach and surf. Any tips on where to go would be greatly appreciated.

Too hot for me to go hunting so I gave it a rest. I plan on heading out this Sat. or Sun. and making up for last W/E.

well......Not much, just a few wheats...one looks to be 193? can't tell it had been rippled to bad. Never any silver...I only find old stuff on land, at old parks fairgrounds and cellar holes.

If you want silver from Old Orchard, you better show up with some serious industrial equipment. I did find a mercury recently after the storm, but that's it for old silver. I have been doing quite well with that Beachhunter I.D. lately though, thanks for your threshold tips in a previous post. The more I use it, the more I get familiar. And if I get it *just* right, it is one Deeeeeeeeeeeeeep machine... If I can figure out where my girlfriend put the camera, I'll get some pics up tonight. The sand still hot down your way?

that's too bad about old orchard I thought for sure there would be old silver there.I think there was alot of old silver in the dunes at salisbury that the last storm set free scattering it all over the place.its still turning up on all areas of the beach.mostly barber dimes,I get more of those than mercs or rosies.loads of wheaties too. COME ON DOWN THIS WAY SOME TIME GIVE IT A TRY!! MAYBE I'LL MEET UP WITH YA!
