Weekend Finds and Firsts

I have been out in VA near the parents place for the past 2 days, and made a few notable finds. I decided to hit the park today with a program I made, that has high tones in the gold ring range. Slightly higher tone for anything 12/41 and above. I commited myself to digging many tabs today. I dug only about 30 tabs before I pulled my first gold ring at over 6g with the CTX, a 1945 10k class ring. I dug many more tabs after that, including my first beaver tail bracelet haha. Other finds were a sterling ring, 2 1940's washingtons, 1 standing liberty quarter (my first), a buffalo nickel (another first), an old lipstick case, an old locker tag, a WWII USN navy silverplate fork, several quarters, dimes, wheats, and pennies. Thanks for looking. Happy Hunting.

That is one fancy bracelet. Nice job.

Congratulations Nolan, :clapping:

I wonder if you can track the owe dr of that class ring? I found a 1972 class ring and have a hard time locating its owner. Also standing Libertys are always a great find , even if you can't read the date. Good luck! And NICE FINDS!!!!

Very nice finds. :super:
I have never found a Standing Liberty Quarter. Is that a diamond in the sterling silver ring? What year is the buffalo nickel? That gold ring is very nice. Those finds are worthy of some findpoints.

Had the silver ring checked, no diamonds this time (still looking for the first diamond ring). The buffalo nickel has the date rubbed off, and aparently it is common for them to be missing the date since the date is high off the edge of the coin. The gold ring is actually from a HS that doesn't exist here anymore!
