First time out with my mxt and a new 14-inch excelerator coil hunting a field that I hunt often I found this gem, I couldn't believe how well it works. After digging a hole about 13" deep this is what I recovered I usually don't find things that deep. Anyone know what this buckle was used for? I don't think it was a belt buckle sinse it seems to be thin metal with a lead filled back.
 
Really good find. It sure looks like a union belt buckle to me.
