Weekend Barber

Well-known member
I did a lot of weekend hunting with a detecting buddy at some researched parks and schools. We also hit one fairgrounds.
Barber quarter is 1901. Barber dimes are 1898,1902 and 1907 O.
Indian head pennies are 1886 and 1905.
Buffalo nickels are dateless, 1937,1937.
I used my 4.5 x 7 coil at the fairgrounds and the stock coil everywhere else.

wow, you sure did good on the Barbers this weekend and I see you hit the jackpot on the clown tokens, lol

Does the Barber quarter have a mint mark??

That's more silver in a weekend than I found last year! Great job and cool finds!

Hey Mark, no there is no mint mark on the quarter. Yes, those clown tokens were all over at the fairgrounds.
The guy I detected with dug a ton of them. Every barber came from a different site. We were lucky to dodge all the rain..
