Wedding Ring Recovery

Well-known member
I finally recovered the man's wedding ring on the river after 4 trips. 1st trip, water too deep for chest waders and didn't have my underarmor, game called due to weather. Ist time at bat, At/Pro didn't work, strike one. 2nd time at bat, still didn't find it, strike two.
Two down and one to go, was I going down in defeat like the mighty Casey or hitting a home run. Here's the pitch-homerun. Ring recovered. I found some other stuff at the river and will post photos tomorrow. Too tired last night and got sunburned bad and not enough time today with looking after Mama and trying to make church. HH. This is my first recovery for someone and it really made my day. It was middle way under the boat dock and I looked all over it. Gonna take me time to learn my At/Pro since I had it repaired and I hunted all around it and on both sides of the dock because I thought it had drifted with the current and waves from the wind and boat wakes. Once I settled down and slowed down and thought it out, it was easy. Lots of iron under this old dock. I even found a trigger from a gun and will post it with other photos from Saturday.

Nice one, Fongu! Glad the story had a happy ending and glad you got your detector back in tip-top shape, too. Between that and some good karma, it should be a productive summer.

Thanks everybody. The At/Pro and Garrett's great service deserve all the credit. I just showed up and was glad to help them out. I got a blessing out of it.
