WED HUNT CLASS RING

Hunting in a school where they are moving dirt around, it was about 4'' down in loose dirt. Had it checked out, cheep metal.

Some of those older class rings do sell for big bucks on the bay even if they are cheap pot metal.

I allways try to return class rings, oldest one I found was a 10 kt gold womans class ring from 1939 (my oldest). This one went to the daughter of the woman that lost it in the same year she got it.

The story made the headlines in two different small town newspapers. I have found 8 class rings and returned 7 of them, it is much more rewarding than melt or ebay prices. My two zincs.

When I was younger out detecting a school yard found as class ring it had initials inside. Called the school. they
told me owner would contact me. Turned out to be my boss's daughter who lost her ring. What's the odd's of that
happening?
