Went to a park after dinner tonight and searched around a pit where they play horse shoes. The ground slopes down about 10 feet on one side so I thought I would search the hillside to see if anything fell down there. About half way down the little hill I get a solid loud 22 hit on my MXT with the Bigfoot coil. I am running the MXT at 2+ gain and I could tell that this was a shallow coin sized target. I had been digging a lot of pull tabs in the 24-26 range so I thought this was a nickel at the 22 reading. I dug a shallow plug and out comes this deep orangish yellow ring. It has a weave type pattern and weighs 3.1 grams and is a size 3 1/2. It is not marked but my Mizar electronic gold tester lite right up to 18K-that's as high as it goes. It might be 22K because of the deep color. It makes my 14K wedding band look pale in comparison. Thanks for looking! Mike
