Elementary School my daughter used to attend while still at home! I wanted to hit the (5) playgrounds before someone else gets to them early tomorrow morning. I started at 3:30 when busses were gone and hunted until 5:30 (getting dark by then)! I found 10 Quarters, 13 Dimes, 8 Nickels and 8 Pennies for a total of 39 coins in the amount of $4.28. Found most of these in the 4 playgrounds and only 3 pennies in one! Because they are hunted so much I usually wear myself out and find nothing or very little!

Just before getting ready to leave I found a Pendant with foreign writing on it! Sure looks like silver but don't know! I'll post a pic when I can get it scanned. It's about the size of a quarter but is scalloped instead of rounded like a coin. Also found a 2002 Chucky Cheese token! Really giving these old bag of bones a workout! :D

My brother, Everett, called today! He had to get a new phone as the other had some shorts in it. Still uses car battery to recharge Cell Phone battery. He doesn't have hot water and has to take cold showers unless he heats water for sponge baths! Brrrrrr!

God Bless!

I'll bet your brother will have a whole new appreciation of modern conveniences, once the power is restored to his home. It sure is a long time for him to be without electricity, but I suppose that that's the way it is when so many areas get hard-hit.

I saw your post from your 100+ coin day too. That's amazing!

Now let's see a pic of the pendant!

PS

Yes I get sore too. My left elbow does not like it when I dig wet sand at the beach. It reminds me every day.

I had to laugh, as I think I may have left already! They've had four bad ones this year to hit their area! He said the electric should be back in a day or two as they are working in his neighborhood putting up new poles! I'm sure he'll really be glad to have everything working again!

And the early bird sure does get the worm and I'm not an early bird! :D

God Bless!

those Chucky Cheese tokens are worth a few bucks. Look online for their site. A friend sold one he had detected for 45 bux. Good going on the digs !!! Steve in so az

Terrific idea, Pennies, but I don't know if my brother has a tub or not, as he takes showers...but would save on gas for sure! He can cook and they are supposed to have electric back on soon, as they were putting up new poles in his neighborhood!

God Bless!
