Added note and question, listing stated it could operate on 8 AA, or 2 nine volt batteries. Anyone ever try using the 9 volts?

I have had it for about 2 months. Weather has been a problem of using it alot. But I am happy with it so far. My very first target with it was a mans silver ring. I was pulling wheaties out of an area I used the Cortes on. I have no regrets and will get to know it better this spring
 
Great I just traded my Sidewinder for another Shadow X2 Great machines My son wants one Trying to sell a Whites Rainbow series Spectrum he has . I am wanting a new Outlaw myself Just have to keep saving will get one soon I hope
 
Thanks Sven They are hot This thing is in excellant condition Too took it out Sat and test run it and got a nichol at about 5 inches and right next to it a 1948 wheat Also could you send me the info on the parts you used to move the contols to under the arm rest and such My Grandson is going to do the soldering for me .I just cant tell what the part is you have installed where the toggle switch was , But from the looks of it it has tomake it balance a lot more Thanks Barry
 
Lets see still looking for Mossburg Bullpup LOL but I have the Toltec II at Tesoro having a checkup ,and my long lost friend Shadow X2 is on its way as we speak . I t should be here Wed. supposedly in new condition. Anybody on the Bullpup ? LOL
 
Just a standard small stereo plug and jack, three wires come off the switch get connected to the jack tabs.
Stereo plug is wired to corresponding tabs and reconnected to the switch in the box. I had a length of 3 strand shielded wire left
over from some computer part in my scrap box that was used.
