and two spotted fawns came in and were licking the mineral block. Mama came in eventually and since all the corn was gone they were just hanging out. I didn't have my camera with me and Mary would not let me get it:wacko:

Soon a bird flew into our dining room window and the noise scared them and they took off.

I sure like it up here in the summerfallspring!:clap:
 
homes but lots of acreage and state land. We just got home from a scooter ride and there were two doe and that six point buck out there. I had to close my shed door and spooked them. They will be back. I am happy the buck keeps coming back as I can take pictures of him as he grows, until Oct 1st that is :(
 
I guess we could leave the doors closed... but the wind through the house feels great!!

that is what deer do. Get hunted. I don't hunt them and nobody is gonna hunt them on my property but I don't begrudge anyone else getting them leagly. A bullet or a coyote, something will get them.

I get a whole summer to enjoy them and the hunter gets a few minutes of bragging rights and some meat.
