We need a new detector from fisher to get things going on this forum a rumer? All the stories are great and the finds but it is always fun when something new is coming, something different, something that we have to have. Even new coils for the CZ like a 3x 18 DD coil. For sweeping fields and large areas?

I thought I had heard from a couple of different people that a DD coil just will not work with the CZ platform for some reason? I really have no idea on engineering stuff though. :nerd Of course I'd love a coil like that myself! :yo For now the Sun Ray 12.5 does the job well for me in large fields. I wonder if a DD would somehow be possible with the C$/Excel line or if that would be a no go too?? :unsure I'll try to ask around....

WHITES MAKES SOME NICE COILS FOR THERE DETECTORS. I HAVE USED THE BIGFOOR 3X18 NARROW AND LONG. NOT VERY DEEP BUT YOU CAN CLEAN A FIELD VERY FAST. GREAT WAY TO GO INTO A PARK AND REMOVE THE THREE INCH TREATS AND THEN GO IN WITH A SMALLER COIL AND GET THE DEPTH THE OTHER COINS ARE HIDING AT. SO I USE A XLT TO GO I FIRST AND RAKE THE SCHOOL OR PARK OR FIELD AND GET THE EASY STUFF. I FIND A LOT OF GREAT FINDS THAT WAY. I TRIED THE COINSTRIKE FOR A MONTH AND WENT BACK TO MY 70 PRO AND CZ3D AND MY XLT.

IT IS NOT AS EASY FOR ME TO SWITCH DETECTORS WHEN THE COMBO I HAVE WORKS.

I think I read about the CZ's not working with DD coils in Tom D.'s posts.

I sure wish Fisher or sunray or someone would come out with one. The one thats on the gold bug is a nice size for starters. Minelab has em, whites, tesoro, but the cz is limited to basically 3 coils since the new sunray coil is very close to the largest cz coil.
Bill find out what you can and please post it here, its hard to imagine one cant be built for the cz machine.
