We need a break...

I'm on the wife's computer on line as mine isn't connected yet. Working on that situation. This will probably be the only time I get on line until I get mine up and running - going to install a wireless router - to get rid of all those big desktops and wires. Biggest problem I have with this is we now have laptops (no that's not the problem) that have Windows XP on them and we have no clue about that operating system.

We got Sherry on line first as she is doing her pest control scheduling and needed to be on line like yesterday. The cable guy got her computer on line. I still have to set up mine and Casey's old laptop too. God help me because He knows I will need all the help I can get.

Took me about a week just to find my Bible - lost in the shuffle and still have a garage full of yard sale items  and I still need to make about 4-5 trips back to Lansing to get more stuff out of the storage unit down there - but we don't have room for it all up here.
The short time frame left us hauling stuff we knew we didn't want to keep but had to take anyway.

There were 3 items I kept track of every step of the way - and had I been a bit more intelligent I'd have put my Bible in one of the cases with the items i did keep track of.......my detecotrs and my bag of detecting accessories!

I was not about to lose them in the move and risk coming to the CMD Forum Hunt without a detector or two in tow. YES you heard right - WE ARE COMING!!!!!

Can't stay over and know I will miss a beautiful church service on Sunday but we have pets and no sitter so will have to get back to them. Casey and Sherry are even more pumped up about the hunt than I am - probably shear exhaustion on my part.

Today is Sherry's birthday and she was given one of her gifts yesterday - a brand new bicycle so she and Casey can go bicycling together and see our new home town at a slower pace than from a moving vehicle. I have a bicycle I got from Casey's Dad. Casey and I went for a ride and she rode back home as I walked the bicycle home - flat tire. Once it is fixed then we can as a family enjoy pedalling slowly around and enjoy our new area (and be able to see prospective detecting sites too :)

For those coming to the CMD hunt, we will be there and looking forward to seeing the old faces once again and seeing new ones.
Those who cannot make it I - like you - wish you could make it. Maybe next hunt you will be there.

God bless everyone. Praise God for getting us up to this lovely area. It is so different than the inner city insanity of the state's capitol area.

Time to get Sherry's birthday off to a great start - have to make some coffee :) and see if I can get the router installed.

Have a great day today! Pete did ya get my phone call?

been a long wait but now you all can kick back and thank God for answering all your prayers Happy birthday Sheri and may God send many blessings your way...Harold n.s
