We might turn this "Class" into an F75 forum....

Mr. Bill & I resisted requests for awhile, as we both have our hands full & didn't really want to add another new "room" to look at.... But, the "buzz" that this great new Fisher is creating is just too great, and is rightfully consuming the entire Fisher Forum.

So, we are about to transform this old ID-Excel, Edge, C$ forum into a new "F75 Classroom"

Now I feel bad for you folks trying to post your great ID-Edge finds & C$ questions on here. But, quite frankly all traffic has died, and we think it's run it's course as a needed "classroom". Now please understand we are not tossing you out in the street..... The Fisher Forum will now open up for posts on the Edge, Excel & C$, and hopefully mix well with the other older Fishers....

WE feel classrooms at Findmall have been a staple of the site to help learn hot new units. We all are hopefull that ID-Edge, Excel, and Coinstrike owners will understand, and continue to post here @ the main "Fisher Forum".

Thanks in advance,

Hello Bill, this is the question I have had in my mind as to how much ahead is the F75 compared to the Coinstrike,ID Excel,ID Edge,CZ3D? How much will the F75 affect the sales of these models of Fisher? Is the F75 going to give First Texas an excuse to start removing these models I mentioned? Ok Bill just thinking and had to ask someone else's opinion on this subject. It sounds like the F75 is a winner! God Bless Bill.

Hi Bill.. as you know I used the 75 at the DIV hunt the whole time. There were A LOT of hotrocks there, moreso in some fields than others. It gives an unmistakable sound on both positive and negative hotrocks and WON'T pinpoint with any audio whatsoever. It passes the hotrock test with flying colors! As for the "older" Fisher units, I'd be curious as to if FT has produced any of them at all since they moved Fisher to the Texas facility? I suspect not but don't know. I would think that might be an indication of their plans with those units. Of course not building any to this point might only indicate a need and desire to lower national inventories.

Hi Brad

Bill L. had filled me in on the hot rocks. It act's the way the Coinstrike does on hot rocks, something similar. The ID Excel doesn't respond to them at all, at least in my area of hot rocks it doesn't. Surprisingly the ID Edge doesn't do as well as the ID Excel does in this department.

As far as what Fisher is going to do with the models in question ???????

a small coil had been made for the Excel...sigh. What an iron picking little monster it would be! I wish FT would do something like that rather than add to further congestion in the middle of their line. You are right, Edge, Excel, F4, and the upper portion of the BH line all in the same market segment. They have to do something or they're eating their own young.

At some point I may have to get another Excel and adapt the Edge coil to it, I miss the little bugger.

...will ID like a half dollar and will pinpoint like a coin.
i have run into several coal clinkers that sounded like deep large cents or half dollars.
other than those I have not had any hot rocks issues and I have a fair amount of them around here.

Over the winter a machine became available that I have wanted to try out for years, and I want to give it some attention. Now all I need is for winter to end!

Hi Mr.Bill, thank you for the response and we will see. It looks like the F75 is off to a good start, do ya reckon Mr.Bill? Ok CU later and God Bless Mr.Bill.
