This is Gulf Huntress, just wanted to let you all know we are ok, no damage on our home, GH is really flustered as there is no beach to detect within our range and not sure when it will be available again. We are still using the generator for power, not sure when our house will be back on track, just waiting. We are thankful for the cool weather as it helps for sleeping at night. Not sure when we will be posting again or can get back online to respond, but thanks in advance for any replies to this messege. Hope to have power back sooner than later. Hope that all others in our area are doing ok. Take care and God Bless Gulf Huntress

Tell him to come on up to MI will find some areas to detect!!
Glad to hear your home is ok. And we pray for all of those suffering down there.

take care

and you did not suffer any damage to your home. Roughin' it with a generator can be the pits but at least you have one to keep you going until things straighten out. Our prayers to everyone down your way.

Even Hurrican Ike is no match for two pirates like the GH's.:cool::cool: I'd let all of the refuse and sewage that is dumped in the bay clear out before I went hunting. The national guard will keep the competition off the beaches until you're both ready to go hunting, I would think.

Be Well Guys,

BDA:cool:

i've seen images on TV... Talk about devastation! I also saw the hundreds of electric crew trucks... guess you'll have power soon! As for cooler air, if you need more, we might send you some down south as it gets in the lower 50's right now at night and they even issued a freeze warning for the night. Guess it will mbe time to bring the small palm trees back in the garage soon for the coming winter :(

But seaspn is far from over... iM TOUCHING WOOD! and tomorrow is going to be a detecting day if all goes well!

Last I talked with you, the storm was just bearing down on you and then nothing. You kill me, you were giving me advice prior to the storm and I didn't know at the time you lived there or I would have never pm you. I'm glad you made OK and for the advice you gave...God bless buddy to you and your family...now get to the beach...Bill (AKA RATPACK)

Glad you guys are still there. Galveston will be closed for some time.....BUMMER......We just got power today in New Caney, at least we were blessed with cooler temps, for a while. HH Gayle

Thanks for all your kind replies and prayers. We just got power restored here tonight. Been running off the generator and it was starting to get hot around here again, LOL! We are fine here, but there are many more less fortunate that still need your prayers and thoughts. We are not allowed to enter the treasure zone for now, but perhaps soon. We only sustained minimal tree damage and some debris, but no damages to the house. May not hunker down next time though, it was kinda scarey, but the Lord was faithful to bring us through. God bless you ALL.

Thank you all for your replies, still need to read all of them. It is really hard when you are so use to having something and then it is gone. I am not just talking about the power outage, but the homes that many lost, and the people that were lost. I am very thankful for many things, and will be praying for all those who lost something during this horrible storm that tore thur galveston and many other areas. Take care and God Bless, Thank you again.
